Lunch N Learn

The BEC is pleased to announce our Lunch N Learn Sessions. This new service will allow all Employers to stay abreast of new developments, legislation, topical issues and best practices within the Human Resource arena in Bermuda.

The following dates have been set aside and the monthly topics will be announced each month so that we can ensure that the sessions are relevant and timely. These Lunch N Learn sessions will be hosted by a guest expert and will be dynamic and interactive. The sessions will be held at the BEC Training Room Facility at # 4 Park Road, Hamilton from 12.30 - 2.00pm with a light lunch served.

Topics may include:

• Redundancy and alternative strategies;
• Immigration best practices with the Chief Immigration Officer;
• Preparing for and dealing with 'flu outbreaks';
• Human rights issues with the Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission (HRC);
• Health, Wellness & Work/Life balance;
• Employment Legislation; and
• Collective Bargaining and social dialogue.

These sessions will keep you up to date with the current business environment and will let you have the opportunity to share concerns, potential resolutions and best practices with your peers from the Bermuda business community.
