The Diploma Program in Administrative Support is a five-module, 10-day program for those who work in an office environment, regardless of their position.  Over the course, the 5 modules focus is on how to create an efficient workspace that is organized for peak efficiency, how to develop good working relationships with those around us, how to express improve our business writing skills, how to communicate effectively to obtain the results we need, and what professionalism in the office means in today’s work place.  Administrative support personnel provide the foundation for any organization, as such, these skills are essential in providing a positive, seamless, and effective work environment for all parties.
   
Who should attend: Individuals currently working as support personnel in organizations and wish to improve their ability in any or all of these five critical areas.


While each workshop is a “stand alone” module resulting in a Certificate in Administration, all five modules of the program are mandatory workshops for the Diploma in Administrative Support.

These workshops are:

Administrative Support Level 1 – Organized for Peak Performance helps individuals understand their roles/responsibilities, how to organize, prioritize, and develop time management skills for greater workplace efficiency.


Administrative Support Level 2 – Knowing Ourselves and Understanding Others helps individuals understand more about their own style of working, how to communicate more effectively and what it takes to get along better with others on their team.


Administrative Support Level 3 – Better Business Writing is a two-day workshop designed to hone your business writing skills by focusing on the most critical aspects of effective written communication.


Administrative Support Level 4 - Communicating for Results is a two-day workshop that will help develop powerful skills to present, persuade, negotiate, impress and better understand others we come in contact with.


Administrative Support Level 5 – Professionalism in the Office is a two-day workshop that focuses on what professionalism means in the work place today, on how to project a professional image, the impact of “attitude” and how to 
successfully handle negativity and conflict in the workplace.


For each level of the Administrative Support Diploma Program participants receive 1.3 CEU's (continuing education unit credits)
