Employment Conditions and Benefits Survey

This survey is carried out every 3 years and provides members with relevant information on various employment practices in Bermuda. Over 120 companies took part in the survey carried out in 2008 and the results were distributed on an easy to use CD. The results are available to new members at no cost.
Covered in this publication are topics such as Employee Insurance Benefits including health care coverage, long term disability and retiree benefits and others. Also included in the Human Resource Administration Section are performance appraisal systems, promotional benefits, part time benefits, vehicle and cost of living allowances, hours of work and other relevant topics. A section on Leave of Absence covers such items as compassionate, sick, vacation, maternity and paternity leave together with redundancy and termination of employment. The final section deals with, among other things, child care, employee assistance programmes, company handbooks and employment contracts.
