Salary Survey
The BEC sponsors an Annual Survey of Salaried and Hourly Paid Employees. The Survey is conducted in total confidentiality by Total Research Associates Ltd., a world renowned and well respected research company.
Questionnaire forms, together with position descriptions and an instruction booklet are mailed out to all member companies in May each year for return at the end of June. The completed questionnaires are then forwarded via the BEC to Total Research Associates Ltd. who tabulate and compile the data.
This survey has become an extremely valuable tool for Human Resource professionals in Bermuda and for those who are involved with setting compensation levels for employees. It is designed to be used as an easy reference electronic library while at the same time providing comprehensive, accurate and relative information. Salary information is provided for more than 150 positions, and new and updated positions are added each year through consultation with participating members.
The participation of BEC members is actively encouraged so that the data can be collected from as many sources as possible to provide a broad cross section of businesses and compensation levels. New and participating members are provided with a complimentary electronic copy of the results.
